I'm blazing into the great crowdfunding world again, asking you to join us in producing my latest solo outing, A Sleepin' Bee - The Nancy Wilson Sonnet. We dove into her early years,

focusing on predominantly her collaborations with Cannonball Adderley and George Shearing. With a smattering of other gems, we gathered 11 songs, moved some meters and shapes around, transcribed nuggets of inspiration from the band and formed our own little Wilson universe.

Andy Ezrin co arranged the music with me over the course of 2016. At the top of 2017, 8 time Grammy Award winning Engineer, Elliot Schiener, and I were presented with a wonderful chance to record the music at my alma mater, Berklee College of Music's Shames Family Scoring Stage, as part of an educational exchange. Suddenly everything had to be pulled together in 2 weeks. Lucky for us, Matt Penman, Jared Schonig, and Ingrid Jensen joined Andy, Elliot and I in the race to Boston. When opportunity knocks...........answer!!

The video picks up the story from here.........
Won't you answer our knock...?
